The need for monitoring driver behavior arises to check whether the drivers are following all the traffic rules and ensure vehicle safety as well as driver safety. Answering the same need, CoreTrack offers an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for businesses to not only monitor their driver behavior but also alert the driver when signs of drowsiness or distraction are detected. ADAS also helps to prevent road accidents by informing the driver about risky events and encourage to control the speed or other functions. Therefore, fleet owners can decrease collision rates and optimize fleet performance by knowing their drivers and their driving behavior.
Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
ADAS assists the driver in undertaking safe driving on roads to avoid accidents and other critical traffic events. It warns the driver for the expected frontal collision based on the speed and distance of both the vehicles.
Headway Monitoring Warning (HMW)
The system checks the distance with the vehicle in front real-time, and it estimates and alerts the driver for the collision that can occur if the front vehicle brakes suddenly.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
The system detects the lanes on the road. It prevents road accidents by warning the driver regarding unintentional deviation from the marked lane.
Advance Driver Monitoring
The Driver Monitoring System (DMS) camera will identify the driver’s abnormal behaviours, such as fatigued driving, distracted driving, smoking, making telephone calls, drinking water, and not wearing a seat belt.
Night Vision & Pedestrian Detection
Pedestrian detection systems are paired with night vision systems to function correctly even in low visibility, as a majority of the pedestrian-related accidents occur in the nighttime.
